Harris was then interrupted by anti-abortion protesters and responded saying, “Oh, you are in the wrong place.” Harris then chuckled.

Twitterati postulated that Harris was responding to a man who shouted ‘Jesus is Lord’ at her, in what appears to be a continuation of what happened in the church. Fox News Digital has left message with the Harris campaign requesting their comment.
The rally was held while Harris missed the 79th Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York. The dinner started in 1946 and has since then helped to mobilise millions of dollars for the support of charities especially for women and children.
It has since then developed into a political and cultural rite of passage of election campaigns, but Harris was able to stun many by not attending the typical bipartisan non-partisan humorous charity annual event that is usually staged during presidential campaigns.
Harris was the first major-party presidential contender not to attend the event since Walter Mondale in the 1984 election campaign.
