New Delhi :On 5th, February 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa has made its global debut officially. The latest iteration of the super sports tourer comes in with a host of updates over the outgoing model which has been discontinued in international markets since 2019. This includes cosmetics, features as well as mechanical updates.
It is offered with a newly designed LED headlight, a new fuel tank, and a more aerodynamic front fascia.
The new Hayabusa can clock a speed as much as 180 mph (290 kmph) as indicated on its analogue speedometer along with a TFT screen on its instrument panel. Below is the detailed technical presentation of the new Hayabusa.
the new Hayabusa will draw its energy from a 1340cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine instead. This unit now complies with the stricter Euro-5 emission norms which has been achieved with the addition of a new intake, a catalytic converter and an exhaust system to Hayabusa. Max engine output is down from 194 bhp to 187 bhp while peak torque is down from 154 Nm to 150 Nm. Mileage has also declined from 21.5 kmpl to 18.06 kmpl.
